Summary

This is a class action case on behalf of employees of Casino Job Center, Inc., the Plaza Hotel and Casino, LLC, Eldorado, Inc., and Jokers Wild for failure to pay the minimum wage, failure to pay overtime, and failure to timely pay all wages due and owing.

Defendants employed Plaintiff as a dealer and scheduled him to work at least 8-hour workdays. Defendants paid an hourly rate of $7.25 even though they failed to offer or provide insurance that is less than 10% of Plaintiff’s total gross income. The policies and practices of Defendants have been substantially similar for all similarly situated employees – in excess of 40 class members. By unlawfully paying Plaintiff and fellow Class members less than the applicable minimum wage rate of $8.25, Defendants have failed to compensate Plaintiff and the members of the Class at the minimum wage for all the hours they worked pursuant to the Nevada Constitution. The Class seeks compensation for all unpaid minimum wages for all hours worked during the alleged period, as well as attorney’s fees, costs, interest, and punitive damages, and provided by law.
