In a unanimous 7-0 decision, the Nevada Supreme Court upheld the rights of all Nevada employees to claim their unpaid wages in court. The attorneys at Thierman Buck have been vigorously defending the rights of employees to seek their unpaid wages in court for years and now have finally been vindicated by the highest court in the state.
Partner Joshua Buck, who argued the case in front of the Supreme Court, said that “today is an important day for Nevada employees. The Supreme Court finally put to rest the absurd argument that defendant-employers had been pushing for years. An argument that, unfortunately, gained traction with some courts and denied deserving employees an ability to recover unpaid wages from their employer.”
